EUROfusion Engineering Grants and EUROfusion Bernard Bigot Researcher Grants

The 2021-2025 Work Plan for the implementation of the Fusion Roadmap in Horizon Europe foresees support for Education and Training of a new generation of scientists and engineers. The EUROfusion Engineering Grants programme (EEG) aims to encourage excellence and career development of young engineers who are already in the programme or attract high quality potential candidates from outside the programme.

The 2023 Annual Work Plan will include a programme to encourage excellence and career development of researchers who are already in the programme or attract high quality potential candidates from outside the programme. In honour of the contributions of the late ITER Director General Bernard Bigot, EUROfusion is grateful to announce the renaming of this grant scheme into: the EUROfusion Bernard Bigot Researcher Grants.

On this page all information on the training grants and the open calls can be found.
